Who I am

This site is run by Coach Marcy, a life coaching practice based in Rancho Cucamonga, California. In this policy, “I” and “me” mean Coach Marcy.

What I collect

Information you give me. If you use the contact form, I receive what you type, such as your name, email address and message. If you book a call or session, I receive your name, email address and the time you choose. If you become a client, I may also keep the notes I take during sessions and the details you share so I can coach you well.

Payment details. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. I do not see or store your full card number.

Basic technical data. Like most websites, the hosting service may log things like your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running.

I do not collect health records, government ID numbers or financial account numbers through this site. Please do not send them.

How I use it

• To reply to you and schedule your call or session.
• To deliver the coaching you signed up for and keep session notes private.
• To handle payments, refunds and my own business and tax records.
• To keep the site secure and working.
• To email you about my services only if you ask me to. You can opt out at any time.

Who else handles it

I use a few service providers to run this site and my business. They only get what they need to do their job, and they handle it under their own privacy policies:

• Website hosting and form handling (Netlify).
• Scheduling (Calendly).
• Payment processing (a third-party payment processor).
• Fonts (Google Fonts), which load from Google when you open a page.
• Social and podcast links (Instagram, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube). If you click through, their policies apply.

I do not sell your personal information. I do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. I may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone from serious harm.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses only what it needs to run. I do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites. If I add analytics or advertising tools later, I will update this page first.

Because I do not track you across sites, I do not need to respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

How long I keep it

I keep information for as long as I need it to coach you, answer your questions and meet legal and tax requirements. After that, I delete it or make it anonymous.

Keeping it safe

I use reputable services and take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or online service is perfectly secure, so I cannot promise absolute security.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you may have the right to ask what personal information I have about you, to ask me to correct it, to ask me to delete it, and to not be treated differently for asking. To make a request, use the contact form and say what you need. I will reply within 45 days. I may need to confirm who you are first.

California’s Shine the Light law lets California residents ask which personal information is shared with others for their direct marketing. I do not share your information for that purpose.

Children

This site is for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Coaching for anyone under 18 requires written permission from a parent or legal guardian before the first session.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
