Agreeing to these terms

By using this site or booking a call, session, package or workshop, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or book. Working with me as a client also means agreeing to the coaching agreement.

What I offer

• A free 15 minute fit call.
• A 45 minute private coaching session for $175.
• A four session coaching package for $700, with sessions about once a week.
• Women’s workshops, with dates, details and ticket prices announced separately.

Sessions are offered in person in Rancho Cucamonga, California, or online by video. All prices are in US dollars.

Booking and payment

Sessions and packages are booked through my scheduling link or by contacting me. A private session is paid when you book. The four session package is paid in full up front. By paying, you confirm you are authorized to use that payment method.

Rescheduling

You can move your session for free if you give me at least 24 hours notice. Use the link in your confirmation or send a message through the contact form.

Cancellations and refunds

• Single session. Cancel at least 24 hours before and you get a full refund. Cancel with less notice, or miss the session, and the session is forfeited and not refunded. If something real came up, tell me and I will do my best to work with you.
• Four session package. Cancel the whole package at least 24 hours before your first session for a full refund. After your first session, completed sessions are not refundable. If you stop early, I will refund $175 for each unused session.
• Using your package. Packages are designed to be used about once a week. Unused sessions expire 90 days after purchase unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• If I need to cancel. I will offer you a new time or a full refund for that session, your choice.
• Late arrival. If you arrive late, your session still ends at the scheduled time.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method and can take a few business days to appear.

What coaching is and is not

Coaching is a partnership focused on reflection, perspective and action. It is not therapy, counseling, medical care, or legal, tax or financial advice. I cannot promise any particular result. See the disclaimer.

Your part

You are responsible for your own choices and actions. Coaching works best when you are honest with yourself and do the reflection or action we agree on between sessions.

Privacy of your sessions

What you share is private. I may share it only if you give me permission, if the law requires it, or if I believe someone is at risk of serious harm. I may talk about client stories only in a way that does not identify anyone. I do not record sessions without your written permission.

Testimonials

I only publish a client’s words, screenshots or story with her clear permission.

Using this site

The words, photos and design on this site belong to Coach Marcy and the people credited. You may share links to the site. Please do not copy or resell the content without permission. Links to other sites are for convenience, and I am not responsible for what is on them.

Limits on my responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, my total responsibility to you for anything related to my services is limited to the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the issue came up. I am not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited under California law, such as for fraud, willful harm or breaking the law.

Working out problems

If something goes wrong, please tell me first through the contact form and give me 30 days to work it out with you. If we cannot, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes will be handled in the courts located in San Bernardino County, California.

Notice to California residents

Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to the following specific consumer rights notice: The provider of this service is Coach Marcy, Rancho Cucamonga, California. If you have a question or complaint about this service, please contact me through the contact form. You may also contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.

If part of these terms does not work

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

Changes

I may update these terms. The version posted on this page when you book is the one that applies to that booking.
